Terms and Conditions of Laptop or Notebook Repair

Warranty
The Laptop Pitstop, Pitstop and the Computer Pitstop are trade names of PC Pitstop (UK) Ltd. We offer a six month return to base warranty on all hardware repairs carried out unless otherwise stated. Any component parts, i.e. System board, LCD etc. that are replaced, will have a 90 day manufacturers warranty on it.

Warranty will be void if our warranty label has been broken, the faults are different or unrelated to the original fault, if the equipment has been modified or improperly handled. Equipment which is returned out of warranty will be charged the appropriate repair costs

Costs and Payment
The cost of our standard inspection and diagnostic fee is £35.00 which includes collection (This fee is reduced to just £10.00 if you bring your laptop or notebook into the workshop yourself) Both of these prices are inclusive of VAT.
NB: If you are purchasing online with us we request you pay via paypal

Collection and Delivery
Should you take out our courier collection service this should take place next business day if arranged before 2pm. The cost for this service is covered by the standard inspection fee of £35.00
Should you be in our local collection area, you will be informed of the day that we are next in your area to collect your item.
All return deliveries by courier will be at a cost of £15.00.
Claims for damage or loss of equipment during shipment/collection by our courier are in accordance with the courier and insurance companies terms and conditions. Any damage of goods should be reported within 24 hours

Claims for any loss or damage of equipment during shipment/collection by our own driver, come with an insurance cover for loss or damage.

No responsibility can be made for any data loss during the repair procedure or any unexpected events occurring.
No responsibility can be made for equipment which may deteriorate during inspection/repair.
No responsibility for the expiration of the manufacturers original warranty should a repair/inspection have been carried out.

PC Pitstop (UK) Ltd. acknowledges all Patents, Trade Marks, Logos etc.

Changes
PC Pitstop (UK) ltd. reserves the right to change prices, terms and conditions without prior notice.
